Meet Nicola Mannini, an Italian-born DJ now spreading groovy vibes in the vibrant streets of London, the city he proudly calls home.

Nicola's journey behind the decks began in 2000, at just 15 years old, inspired by the sounds of the '70s and '80s that his best friend - a local DJ - was spinning in bars and clubs. Eager to be part of that world, he began playing alongside him - an opportunity that earned him recognition and opened the door to his first solo gigs. These experiences led to sets at fashion events and upscale bars - the perfect backdrop for his music - and became the foundation for a deep connection with club culture and a lifelong passion for DJing.

Over the years, he has not only performed alongside established names but also curated and hosted events, developing a strong understanding of both the artistic and operational side of nightlife.

Far from slowing down, Nicola's passion for growth remains strong, and in January 2024 he co-founded the DJ collective "Spicy Juliet", where he helps curate events, coordinate lineups, and handle the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running flawlessly.

As a producer, Nicola continues to evolve his sound, and his latest release, "I want your body" featuring Angela Johnson, has gained support from platforms such as Beatport and Traxsource, as well as respected artists, marking a new chapter in his artistic journey.

Whether playing vinyl-only sets or more club-driven sessions, Nicola's approach remains consistent: storytelling, groove, and a deep respect for the dancefloor.

He currently performs across a range of venues, and you can find him behind the decks at his vinyl-focused residencies with the Spicy Juliet crew, from The Bear in Camberwell and Two More Years in Hackney Wick, to more intimate listening settings like Ember in Hertford, as well as other spaces like Birdhouse in Herne Hill, Kave in Fitzrovia, and many more.

He currently performs across intimate listening spaces and curated bar settings, with regular appearances behind the decks at his vinyl-focused residencies with the Spicy Juliet crew - from The Bear in Camberwell and Two More Years in Hackney Wick, to more intimate settings like Ember in Hertford, alongside London venues such as Bird House in Herne Hill and Kave in Fitzrovia.
